BizOS Build Log #1 · by Suhail Ahmed · October 2026
This is the first build log for BizOS, the business software we're making at EVOMODA. If you want the background on who we are and why a fabric business is building software, read Meet the Founder and My Journey. This post is only about the product: what shipped, what's in progress, and what we learned.
What is BizOS, in one line?
BizOS is a CRM and automation app for Indian small businesses that keeps customers, leads, orders, invoices, stock and WhatsApp conversations in one place, with an AI assistant on top.
Why we're building it
In our own fabric business, money leaked in small ways: WhatsApp enquiries answered late, Instagram messages missed, rolls of one colour sitting unsold for months. Each problem is small on its own, but together they cost real money. BizOS is our attempt to put all of it on one screen.
What shipped this month
- Its own address. The app now runs at app.evomoda.website instead of a temporary preview link.
- A public demo. Anyone can explore BizOS with sample data at app.evomoda.website/demo — no sign-up needed.
- An approvals inbox. When the automation wants to do something sensitive, like reserving stock for a WhatsApp order, it now waits for the owner's approval first.
- Safer Google sign-in. We tightened how Google logins are verified, so a login token issued for another app can't be used to get into BizOS.
- Faster first load. Pages now load on demand, and the server is kept awake so the first visit of the day doesn't wait for it to start.
What's still in progress
- WhatsApp on our business number. We connect directly to Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. Our test number works; our Indian business number is still waiting for Meta's verification and display-name approval.
- Dead-stock alerts. The feature I care about most: spotting stock that has stopped moving before it turns into a loss, and suggesting what to do with it. Our article on dead stock in textile businesses explains the problem it solves.
- A weekly "money leak" report. One message each week showing missed leads, unpaid invoices and slow stock.
What we learned
Most of this month's work was not new features. It was hosting, domains, sign-in security and backups — the boring parts that decide whether a business can trust the software with its data. We'd rather get those right before adding more buttons.
A second lesson: approvals matter. Automation that acts without asking makes owners nervous. Letting the owner approve sensitive actions builds trust and still saves time.
Quick answers
Is BizOS free to try?
Yes. You can open the demo without signing up, and create a free account at app.evomoda.website/register.
Who is BizOS for?
Indian small and medium businesses — especially traders, wholesalers, and garment and textile businesses that take orders over WhatsApp and Instagram.
Where can I learn more?
The product website is bizos.evomoda.website. New build logs will be posted on this blog.
If you try the demo, tell us what confused you at contact@evomoda.website. That feedback decides what we build next.
